Harer-Awash (4 Days - 550 km)
 

Day 1
Drive to Harer, the fourth holiest Muslim city in the world and the most pleasant city to visit in Ethiopia. Harer is said to be the city with the largest concentration of Mosques with more than 90 found there.

Visit the walled city of Harar (a world heritage site), the hyena man, and cultural museums.

Day 3
Drive to Awash National Park, on the way visit the chat market at Aweday, the largest chat market in the country from where high quality chat is distributed to other parts of the country and abroad to countries like Djibouti and Yemen. A relaxing short trek by the river Awash will take away the strain out of the long drive. Crocodiles and a variety of birds may be seen.

Day 4
Visit the hot springs and/or game drive within the Park. Oryx, Gazelles, Lesser Kudu and more can be seen before proceeding back to Addis.
